There are many different ways to train a dog and many people are stuck on specific ways that they believe works, but actually doesn't. I have learned tips and techniques over the years from my Aunt who is a professional Dog Trainer and not everyone thinks the methods that she uses are the best ones used out there today and maybe they are right, but the one thing I do know is that the methods work! She has trained hundreds of dogs and I have trained my dogs using her techniques.

These methods are quite simple and easy to remember and if you use them correctly your dog will change. Some dogs will change their ways within minutes, some it takes hours, and the other hard headed dogs it might take a day.

If you are consistent with your training and use the methods given you will notice a difference in your dogs behavior or whatever you are teaching him.

First you need to remember that all dogs are different and you need to stick with one thing at a time. Some dogs learn quicker then others, but either way you need to repeat whatever you are teaching over and over until your dog has mastered it. Once he has mastered it then you can move on to the next thing on your list.

Start off with easy to do tasks. At first you need to keep it simple for your dog so he will be able to complete the task at hand correctly and this will cause your dog to gain confidence. He will gain confidence in himself and in you which eventually leads to your dog trusting you. Also be sure to make sure that whenever you give your dog a task let him know what the correct answer is.

You are the best person to train your dog. Nobody else is better than you because you are the one that owns the dog and sees the dog everyday. If you want your dog to love you then you need to train him yourself because he will trust you since you took the time to train him. Dogs notice these things!

Another thing you need to remember is that you should never scold your dog while training him. This could make your dog nervous and he won't think as clearly which leads to him making wrong decisions. Always correct him when he does something wrong, but never beat him. You want your dog to trust you, not run from you. If you believe that you need more information on Dog Training Techniques then CLICK on the link at the end on this article.
